Alcan Forging offers a broad range of advanced aluminium-based solutions for suspension, hydraulic and decorative applications. Processes for high-quality parts are developed and designed in close co-operation with customers enabling us to leverage maximum material and process potential. As a result, weight savings between 10% (vs aluminium casting) and up to 45% (vs steel casting) have been achieved. Our production concept is based on fully automated processes with preforming, bending, forging, calibrating and heat treatment in a single production line combined with a low-cost country position which is established as a partnership with Strojmetal.

Alcan Composite Structures utilizes state-of-the-art composite technology and production processes, such as Resin Transfer Molding, Vacuum Resin Infusion, and Structural Sandwich Bonding. We concentrate on product solutions offering significant added-value to our customers. Our products range from front cabins, roofs and floors for rail vehicles; sandwich panels for buses; and FRP components for the automotive industry, such as high performance spoilers.
